Warren Kent

Mr. Warren Kent has a longstanding career in the field of child welfare and with special needs youth since 1993. He began his career as a special education teacher's assistant and eventually transitioned to an extensive stretch of employment at the Children’s Village agency where he was recently promoted to the position of Senior Vice President for Community Based Services. In addition to the aforementioned, Mr. Kent was appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Bridge Builders Community Partnership in mid year of 2014. Mr. Kent continues to hold that position where he has overseen the successful launch and success of 1 of the 3 pilot Family Enrichment Centers that is located in the Bronx NY. Moreover, Mr. Kent currently oversees the functioning and administration of over 40 programs that serve the surrounding communities including the implementation of an evidenced informed model in New Jersey. Within the Children’s Village agency, Mr. Kent has played an instrumental part of the Undoing Institutional Racism movement where he has presented on the topic both internally and throughout the County of Westchester. Finally, Mr. Kent sits on various committees that support and advocate for the empowerment of youth and families throughout several counties throughout the lower Hudson Valley.
